Sisterhood

Our sisterhood is strong throughout the chapter. Girls of all different interests can come together and be themselves; we lift one another up and highlight these differences. Recently we have bonded through a pancakes and pajamas event. Sisters could meet in a welcoming, comfortable environment and share stories over a meal. There are several events in the coming year aimed at fostering our sisterhood and building connections through the shared love of Kappa. To be a Kappa at NC State means connection. There are connections in classes, in passing, and in all areas on campus. With familiar faces all around, the large campus feels small; finding the close bond between sisters allows for a feeling of ease. This sense of connection follows through with our relationship with Kappa alumna. Although we are a newer chapter, we have had many events allowing the familiarity with our alumna to grow. By sharing coffee with our Kappa Kappuccino event, inviting them to significant chapters, and to our Founder's Day, there is always an opportunity to foster the relationship.
